Swindon's First
Street Art Festival! |
Founded in 2022 by Artsite Ltd, Swindon Paint Fest is back again and about to turn the town into a creativity hub of all kinds ranging from large scale murals, live painting, art market, exhibitions, workshops, dance and music! Follow our event page here to keep up with the live updates as we fill you in with all ART that's going on that weekend!
With over 50 talented artists and six headliner artists, some traveling from as far as United States, Spain and Ireland to be part of this, we are ready to raise spirits by bringing colour and creativity to the town.
Back in the 1980s, Swindon became the unlikely murals capital of the U.K. and the town once boasted over 40 murals. Only legendary Ken White’s 1976 Golden Lion Bridge and Sarah Faulkner’s 1985 Arkells Brewery seem to be left. So it’s become one of key goals to put Swindon firmly back on the street art map once again!
The murals trail will be revealed closer during the actual dates, it will take you to places at a variety of locations in and around the town centre and into Rodbourne and Old Town. Set that date to take a stroll, cycle or drive round to see the eye-catching and thought provoking artworks! Or scan our QR code on the poster and follow our socials @swindonpaintfest! Remember to tag #swindonpaintfest2023 in your social media posts and we will do our best to share them!
